Storm coming at Middleton Beach

The weather in Albany is always exciting to watch. On this particular day the morning started off sunny and then just after lunch it became stormy suddenly. So I quickly hopped down to the beautiful Middleton beach where I took this shot of the waves rolling up the beach.

When editing the image I was focusing on drawing out the blues and aqua colours in the water, while trying to keep the neutral tones of the sand in the foreground. I was able to enhance the white foam in the water, however the clouds ended up with too much of a blue tint.

Albany has so many locations for photographer, I can't wait to come back see what else I can capture.
