A land of contrasts, hot and cold temperatures, rough and smooth textures, beauty and harsh landscapes. As the sun sets shadows dance across the landscape and the warm even light create a soft glow across the trees and grass.

The contrast between the red earth and the blue skies in this part of the world is incredible. There are rich colours to found everywhere. While this land is undoubtedly gorgeous, it also has it's challenges.

Deep and the gorges there are some incredible hidden gems to be found. This oasis is called Fern Pool. Get there early in the day and may find you have the place to yourself. Even the path you take to get to the pools is gorgeous and one of my favourite walks. As the name says this pool is surrounded by ferns and other plants.
